Cheryl Van Deusen Elite Senior Athlete
Cheryl Van Deusen converted from the Arabian Show Horse world to distance riding in 2001 as her horses were bored going around in circles and over fences. Initially she rode Competitive Trial Rides (CTR) but found endurance, her true addiction. She has almost 22,000 competition miles of which 18,500 is endurance and 685 LD. To date, she has competed FEI endurance in seven different countries Portugal, Uruguay, England, Argentina, Chile, and Canada plus the USA of course! She is proud to have two horses in the AERC decade club, one of which DA Al Capone has over 5000 AERC and FEI miles.
